They are custom order, so you can specify exactly what fits the mkII.
P type will have a different fitment than an L type.

Maybe the cs members here will post up pics of theirs with sizing numbers.

Yes, several of us have the cxn's. Everybody I know has gone with 16x8 and zero offset on all four corners.

I have CXN and ST springs (soon to be Eibachs), if I order fronts again I would go 1/2-3/4" more negative offset (inboard).

'inboard' sounds to me more positive, like 16 x 8 +10 front, 16 x 8 0 rear sounds perfect to me.

How much do the cxn's cost?

I bought my 16 x 8" 0mm offsets for $1,500. Price will vary, since the Compomotive wheel components come from the UK & they are assembled here. The price will vary based on what the current US dollar - UK pound exchange rate is, so it won't always be $1,500.

And unfortulately, you can't get them anywhere else in the US. Motorsports Specialties in Pennsylvania is the ONLY Compomotive dealer/importer in the US, so the prices will be dependant on what M.S. tells you.

Since I'm in a good mood right now & it's nice outside.... :D

Side view. Gives you an idea on the amount of "lip'age" this wheel setup has.

Definitely, go with zero offset for the rears. I ordered +5mm offset on the second set and had clearance problems (rear calipers) with the '85...but they did fit on the '84 (damned if I know why). Zero offset works for everybody....+10mm will not clear the calipers!!

So has anyone looked into getting the rears either wider or a different offset to bring them out further to match the fronts if the calipers are and issue for the front?

I love the wheels myself and I'm know this is one of the choices I'm considering after I get my motor back together...yes a little treat for myself after I complete my rebuild.

I like Nick's wheels too that he has on his car...the forgelines.

What Forgelines????

They're Simmons actually.

It can be done. I just looked at the spec's for the CXN's over at Motorsports Specialties. The CXN's are available in either 15" 16" or 17" diameters, widths are available between 6" - 14" wide. Just go with the offsets that James Rosario listed & you're good. Just confirm w/ the contact person @ M.S. that they can do it.

Opps yup, my mistake...Simmons! Thanks! ;) I knew that but had Forgeline on the brain, but my hat is off to the aftermarket wheel spenders (especially with our bolt pattern/offset)!!! :)

I think Orphir's car has Forgelines:

When I was shopping around for wheels, I looked at Compomotive. They told me they couldn't get the wheel to 0mm offset, but that it would be 1-2mm off which isn't a big deal in the rear on a 9" wheel. But I went with SIMMONS instead.

That's a great pic.
Makes O's mkII look so much better with the honda with the black, scooped hood in the background :) .

Ah yes, that was the car show that was up @ Rodland Toyota a few years ago. The first show that I brought the Silver Slug to & where I first met Nick.

Uhmmm... We're getting way off topic!! :runaway:

I need to re-torque the small 12 point bolts holding the wheel pieces together due to a slow leak. I cant remember if its 15ft lbs or 25 ft lbs???

Hrmmm.... Havn't had to retorque mine yet, no leaks on all 4.

Since Motorsports Specialties has to assemble them, give them a buzz??? They probably know the torque specs.
