I did this a good 3 months ago I think lol...I got the vid just now, so ill share with you...and when u watch it, and listen on how loud the car is ...YES IT IS A FIGHTER JET FLYING OVER YOU, when your standing behind it..lol....I was running with exhaust was a 2.5" straight pipe with cat conver. And resonator out...only muffler...I got a resonator in now and made it much quieter and nicer sounding lol...it was fun though.

that does have a nice growl to it. almost v8 sounding. plus the loud vacuum of the intake. i love that sound too.

its still louder than the mk4 with 3.5" exhaust thats too loud, lol.

and now he can get a ticket for oversized exhaust. personally i prefer a smaller dual tip muffler that actually muffles. and looks nearly stock while doing it.

It only sounds loud. Turbo cars are MUCH louder due to the higher cylinder pressures.

The car sounds nice though. :) The sound reminds me of the my old 5m with a bunch of NA mods.

What RPMs did you rev to?

the turbo cars that ran were all much quiter, by far, all the NA cars were louder.
i organized the dyno day this was taken at.
his car ran to 6500 rpm.
he made 136hp and 142 tq.

Maybe on the higher frequency side.

wade, it only seems like that cuz its the good ol 5m. The 7m hits the 6500krpm mark way quicker. :)

Nice sounding car though.
