Well since I bought my 16" wheels, I needed some affordable rubber to put on them, and after a little research I decided to go with the Hankook ventus h405's

They cost about $120 CDN per tire. And for the price, I'd say these tires are amazing!

Overall they have great wet and dry traction. But I really noticed the difference when I went to the track for a few 1/4 mile passes.

I was getting consistant 2.15s and 2.16 60' times with these tires. I was amazed. I could never break 2.2 before even with some OK r compound tires.

They're extremely sticky on the track for what they are, and the price they go for. Even though they have a 340 A A rating, which seems kinda high to most, but i must say they are very sticky.

Anyways, thought i would share just incase anyone was looking to buy a set of these.

How do the sidewalls feel stiffness wise? I like everything about my Falken Ziex except the skinyness and soft sidewalls.

Oh, if you really want to put them to the test, I'm going autocrossing on sunday :D

Well I actually havent had much experience with different tires, so im not really sure what sidewall flex feels like lol :(

And are you saying you want to put them to the test in auto-X? If so, I'm not that mean to my tires, I still need them to last a little while longer :P
