If I was in washington, you would have regretted posting that link ;)

Why are you asking us information that we dont know. The only information listed is that they are 14s, and you can only see that because of the tire size. How the hell would we know what mystery size and offset these wheels are? They are a hundred bucks, just go buy them.

im asking as a general question...
and opinions..
what do you think? do you think that wheels from late 70s models toyota would have any fitment issue with a early to mid 80s supra.Especially in a size that is stock size.
think any rubbing would occur.

The wheels are going to fit. Nothing is going to rub.

yea I would buy those immediately before an ae86 guy grabs em and you can always make a few hundred bucks posting them on ebay or club4ag forums

well i just talked with the guy and he said that he wasnt all that flexible on the price but, 100 bucks isnt bad at all if they are in decent shape. Im going To see if he can get me some more pictures.

Would Anybody here be interested (i will most likely be refinishing them in gunmetal with polished lip or black with polished lip)

I would go on the assumption that rims are 1" narrower going by tire size, a good question to ask perhaps? Does he have the caps to go with them?

i am not sure...i will be going out to his house friday, i will ask him...but i will start searching for caps. Are there like universal caps i can buy or do i have to find them wheel specific.

Give him the hard time about caps, unless he can provide...back to the obo.
You could put the 225 tires on. They would fit but would only make the car wallow more then it allready does. they would handle a 205 ok but that would screw up the odometer.

just wondering cause i have a almost new set of tires that are 225/60/14 mounted on my stock ptype wheels..and i just wanted to swich them over, but i dont want to effect performance in any way. i may just stick with my ptype rims.

does anyone want me to pick these up for them?

You dont give someone a hard time about $100 meshes. You just buy them period. Dont worry about caps. If they are 14x6 you will not want to put the 225/60 on them. Get some 195/60 instead. Keep the 225's for 7inch or wider rims.

I'd buy em to re-sell, but I see no real benefit to mounting them on the car. There will obviously be no performance benefit and aesthetically, it's hard to beat the look of the stock wheel(as far as a 14in goes). However meshie 15s or 16s look better than stock IMO.

If these weren't 300 miles away, this thread would be useless. AE86 would have another set of wheels.

Don't "go look" next friday ..... go get them now, tonight :duh: :duh:

i just dont know if it will be worth my time to drive 50 miles round trip, spend 100 to buy, spend another 25 or so to refinish.
i dont think it will end up paying off all that much...how much would i get for these nicely refinished

You can sell them for $300+ easy. I cant believe your bitching about 50 miles.

I dunno. This might be a definite in California or Washington, but good luck with anything like that here on the east coast. I thought I'd make a ton of money off some minty s14 seats that I got out of the junkyard, but the truth is I can't get rid of them because shipping is a bitch. (I'm only asking 200, and I've seen sets go on zilvia for 300-350) However, shipping on wheels is much cheaper.
