Weird wire located underneath of tranny .. ?

Hey guys !

Whats that wire for, that is located somewhere just underneath of the tranny?

It looks like theres some connector or something... dont know what its for...?

Im asking because it looks like that only 1 of the 2 wires are connected, and the other has been pulled out by accident or cut over by something!

Backup light switch if it is on the left hand side.

Its the switch that activates the reverse lights on the taillights. Put the car in reverse with the key on and walk behind the car and see if they work. If the wire is just hanging loose they probably don't work.
