These will:

Knockoffs FTL. Plus the fitments will be awkward, and you will need a spacer.
Save your pennies for real wheels...the car deserves is. Remember, people see the wheels before the engine bay ;)

You can sell a nice set of custom wheels for a mk2. It will take some time, but if the size/offset is perfect and the wheels are SICK I bet you can sell them for a decent price.

buy my 15in enkie's. already polished. ill paint the centers any coolr you want before shipping. lol. they fit great.
as for the wheels you posted. the 17x9.5 +12 would be good for the rear. too bad all the wheels they have are too wide for the front. they need to make that wheel in 8in widths with 0 offset for 17 and 18 and then we could run them.

i have a z32 caliper and the 15in rim fit over it with it bolted directly to the strut. now if you have an adaptor to push it further out it wont fit. i can mount the caliper to a strut assembly and put an enkie over it for a pic if you want.

ive seen them in person on a S13 240sx and i really liked them. i think in all black they would look sick.
im iffy on the stang rims. 1) becasue most ppl would know they were mustang rims and 2) no lip and not black :sadsmilie maybe im too picky
im not using a spacer for the Z32 brakes so your wheels, William would clear. still not a fan of mesh wheels (dont flame me for it)
i was hoping to find something that i could sell to my brother to put on his 240sx in a year when he is ready for new wheels. thats why ive been on zilvia.net looking for wheels that they run. i know our offsets are not the same but its a starting point.
i really wish those rotas would work. :sadsmilie

Could you not use P-45F on the front and P-45R on the rear?
83restomod
01-06-2009, 10:26 PM
wow!! didnt even think of that. they dont show the 45F in black but paint could fix that as long as they fit properly.
so what do u think the best option would be with these.
front P45F- 17x7.5 +12
rear P45R- 17x9.5 +12
????????????????????????????????????????????
here are the links for everyone

Not a bad idea...would give u that trendy 'concave' look in the back with a flat face in the front. (assuming the rear has a fatter lip) The offsets will get you relatively close...nothing a small spacer cant fix. Specify matching center caps...assuming you can fit the cap in the front (which is ESSENTIAL!)
You plan on running this style in all black? (no polished lip?)

I'm not a fan of the flat faced P45F's I like the P-45R's all the way around, but that's me. Personally I say go for it. I am one of those people who would rather buy another MKII than spend 3 grand on rims. Spacers are NOT the devil, I think these could work, I don't remember the spacer needed but just use good spacer adapters, as well as good (ARP) hardware & lock-tite and you shouldn't have any problems.
I've posted about these rims elsewhere in the "Rims that Fit" section as well.

i like the look of the all black even with the red pin stripe it looks cool. not sure how it would look on my car. i could always get the silver with the polished lip and paint the spokes black myself. paint and bodywork supplies are limitless for me.
would the sizes and offsets i listed work? where would i need to run a spacer, and remember by going Z32 in the front i have gained +8 offset.

Oh, nice. A 5mil space on the front would get it relatively flush.
I have 9.5 +6 rear and there are a few more mm between the tire and the fender opening. I'm not 'hella flush' but I'm not bad. You will be a 1/4" more inboard than me..which u can fix with a 5mm spacer if u wish. If the wheel has no lip, you may want the spacer for added effect. I actually thought about a 5mm spacer in the rear just to see if I would clear. (so others can have better fitment info) If SSR offered a +0 I would have gotten it, but they didnt.

YOu may want to beg tanya to pshop it before you commit...the non concave/concave combo with minimal lip may look weird on a mk2.

...or stick with the +12mm, and go with 275/40's out back, ala ROH wheels.
Those x7.5 +12mm fronts should fit nicely over the MPV rotors, and you can probably get away with 235/45's without looking like you're wedging too much tire on the rim.
I say go for it!

i asked for a quote from a ebay seller to see how much a set would be for 2 of each of those in +12. i think the offsets would be perfect and not need a spacer. the spokes look the same so i asked for gunmetal. who knows. if all goes well maybe ill grab a set with my tax return, i need a wider rim and tire in the back of my 84. its this or the rb's, if i go rb's ill get the 17x7.5 +12 front and 17x9 -13 rear.

Which Z32 calipers are you going with? 26mm or 30mm disc application? 26mm will give you more spoke clearance.
If you go with the MPV disc you could possibly squeeze the 26mm caliper over them. If you do use the 26mm caliper there are other discs which might be more suitable.

That looks decent on the mk4 cause you can actually get the rim flush to the fender front and rear. With our goofy flares and staggered track, thats impossible without hella rice poke/stretch. Good luck :)

Dooo it, the only thing I dont like about them is the multi lug and lack of lip even for 9.5's and low offset Rota just makes the hub deeper instead. You really cant go wrong for the price especially with the amount of power you have and they are just wheels its not like your stuck with them for life.

I would hope that they both have the concave look... the fronts on the MKIV picture are practically flat across, the rears sit back a bit. If they are both "dished" then they look awesome, that'd just drive me nuts.

the only way to make the wheels work on the mk2 with out spacers and shit is to do the Fs in the front and Rs in the rear. that was the whole issue with the look of the 2 different wheels. fronts are flat(er) and rears are dished.
color choice is alot more then what the rota site shows. i can get both in black with polished lip according to the ebay rota seller guy. but most most come with a machined/polished lip
