This will help out a lot since a good number of us are involved in the ROH wheel buy.
What is the proper way to store wheels with tires mounted? Should the pressure be maintained or should it be reduced slightly to eliminate the extra pressure on the seat and sidewalls? Can they be stored in an attic (where it can get pretty hot during the summer months) or should they be in a more controlled environment? How often should they be treated/moisturized to maintain the rubber?
Out of the cellar.

no pressure
cool, dry place (not like super dry, just out of the rain or water spills)(
away from anything sparky (generates ozone) or flourescent lights
in sealed garbage bags

in sealed garbage bags
Tire shops have heavy bags for tire storage. They might sell you some cheap.

If they're sealed in bags would they be safe in a crawl space under a house? The crawl space under my house is more like a basement (tall so you can stand) but without the flooring. It's bare dirt with a moisture barrier (plastic sheeting). During long rain spells it can get a little damp, humid but cool. Think this would be safe if they're stored in two or three bags each? Damn southeast houses and they're lack of basements.
I'll sleep when I'm dead.

Put acouple 2x4s under to keep them off the floor

good idea, especially if it is a dirt 'floor'
and dont stack them if you can avoid it (real im portant if they are not on the wheels)
best way to get a good seal with the large garbage bags is to put one on wiht the opening one way, and then the other one on with the opening at 180 degrees to the first one and then duct tape it - makes a real good seal

Yep that would seal them alright. And good point about stacking...rubber remembers :)

Good point about the multiple bags and rotating them 180. That's something I had thought of but it's good to point it out. I'll be storing the whole shabang; OEM wheels and fairly new tires. Also a good point about the 2x4's, I'll get a couple skids from work that should do the job nicely. Thanks for the tips!
I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off.

ive seen stands that are basically an old wheel with a pipe welded in, standing up, then pins inserted through the pipe.
basically looks like a multi tiered coat rack with short pegs, and the wheels are slid on.
properly designed and spaced, it keeps the tires from touching, and only touches the wheels on the seat.
once theyre on the lil rack, a big garbage bag can be slid right over the top, and taped around the bottom of the post.
hard to explain, but if youve seen one in person, you will marvel at how little space it takes up, and how nicely it stores the wheels.
