Sumitomo's HTR4 shows still available on Sumitomo's website in our stock P-type size however you now might have to get it somewhere other than TireRack. In the U.S. we really have only three choices in H speed rating and A temperature rating:

1.Michelin Pilot
2.Sumitomo HTR4
3.Falken Ziex ZE502

I've had a couple of sets of the Michelins and one set of the Sumitomo's. The Sumi's are just as good as the Michelins at nearly half the cost. Other members have indicated the Falkens are a good choice as well and reasonable cost.

I meant any Sumitomo's but thanks very much. I am considering the 502's. I have 4 Sumitomo tires on my Celica and want another set for my Supra so I have all like tires and wheels.

Thanks for the input, but I already ordered the Falken tires. Actually my speedo reads about 4 mph fast so if I was to change sizes I would go up not down. Maybe a 235 instead of the 225. or a 225 65 instead of 225 60 Funny, my celica is off the EXACT same amount. Wonder why Toyota did that?

This is either to minimize speeding, or to make the owner think his car is faster than it is.

infact last month i just installed the yokohama avid with 225/60/r14 for $515CAD, include balance and install. and the car feels very good.

what do u guys think? I just redo my rims the week before i put the tires on.

So I caught a $50 per tire 'Clearance' price on 215/60/R14 Sumiomo's at TireRack:
