Has anyone tried the 225/60-14 Sumitomo tires that are available through the Tire Rack?

i have some on mine, but dont have anything to compare them to. they came with my car.

I had them on my 85... when I ordered them from tirerack they came in 2 days and I installed them my self at my school and the tire is really good... the tires lasted for about less than 3 years.... that is with drifting the car and some week end drag racing

A friend of mine autocrossed his Celica on them. I was quizzing him at lunch the other day and he said they stuck really well and were quiet on the road. After looking at our options, I think I'm about to order a set myself. I've had the Michelins only because they came on the redpra when I bought it and they were very good, but considering the price, I can't imagine they'd be TWICE as good as the Sumos or Falkens. I sure miss my old Yoko 509s tho.
