i know curiosity killed the cat, but i followed the ROH group buy pretty closely, and noticed that a few people were interested in 16x8's. james razor (who ran the ROH GB) said not to fear, and come summer another wheel GB would be done! just wondering if there's any news on that forefront, as i've got paychex pouring in (as much as working full time sux) and nothing to spend it on! the horror!!

oh, and feel free to smack me, since the ROH group buy probably isn't even done at this point ^^

I'll be the fourth.
Missed the 17" ROH and got Supra #2.
Since then have found how difficult supra fitment is - both L and P types.
Easy to find wheels that fit if you pay more than the car :)

Argh. trying to find 225/60/14 is a nightmare. I finally settled on the sumitomo htr4 215/60/14. $300 for a set of 5 from the local tire factory diden't have them mounted and balanced I can mount and balance them myself ( I just got done refinishing the stock rims and dont want them scratched up ). I diden't feel like paying the shipping charges getting them on line and then having to wait. Got to have them ready for the baxter show! Now if I don't get a new diff in I'm SOL...

I would be #5 for the 16's

Ken, are you aware, the ROH snypers are avaliable in a fitment for the Ls, at least my local dealer claims they are.

pretty decent price too, at least from my guy, your milage may vary.

I got in on the 17 G/B for my 85 but I would love to get a set of the 16's also for the newly acquired 82.

totaly off topic... any issues with using the 3000 intake plenum 1smoth85?

I've got one and don't know if I'm going to use it or not...

Don't worry about doing it too soon... I have very little $$$ right now... and I told the chimp I wanted a 6MGE motor from him... and the 2.5 inch exhaust with the magnaflow muffler... and just about everything else he has like new suspension and those braided steel brake lines... you guys get the point...

I'm still #2 on the list though :D

Maybe we should shoot for spring? The 17 inch ROH snyper rims wont be distributed until the end of October... Let James clear his plate first... and give me a chance to keep saving...
