I wish they had the 245/50 and 265/50 size in those... Thats my next set of tires... The only ones I have found are B F Goodriches.

There is actually a 265/50R14 from Yokohama(I can't remember the name) but the 245/50R14 are still not available in the market.....

It is just really hard to have a car with a outragoues offset for rims and tires that are really hard to find.... But with all the luck IT IS STILL A MK2 SUPRA 8)

Hmmm, that's strange, the Falkens look just like the Bridgestone RE 730:

I'm sure the Falkens are a bit cheaper too! Just thinkin' out loud again!

I happen to need tires...soon. I use a 225/60-15 on my car, and there are 28 different tires to choose from in my size.

Couldn't believe this (for $44 ea): http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=AVS+Intermediate&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=26ZR5I&fromCompare1=yes

amazing...wonder if they're any good?

VERY GOOD!

they have tenacious grip, but will have poor tread life, but for $44 a piece! wow!

theres a cutlass that runs on them and continually kicks my ass at autocross.

His car has 10hp/20tq up on me and only weighs 150# more, plus hes running 225/50/16 tires, yoko es100's now, and has been running autox for three years. He got last years novice trophy in g-stock (class I'm in) here locally. He has been on good tires all this time, and I have always been within 0.5s of him, and actually beat him once. I am still on 10yr old tires on back, my shocks are dry, and I'm only on my 6th autox in my first year.

Aside from that, he is the best FWD driver I have ever seen. He has extreme skills at driving his car on the limit. As soon as I get these rear tires, I should be able to run even with him, if not beat him, every time. If you add the springs, shocks, swaybars, and bushings to the equation and figure upon me getting faster, I should take him pretty easily.

Not making excuses, just reasoning =)

YEah, I know BFG makes them...but I was trying to avoid them.... Not a huge fan of them. Always found them to be a bit on the hard side...

Would 265/50's fit on stock 14 inch wheels 4 our cars/

They do fit, tho on the front its a bit tight...

If I don't upgrade some rims soon, I am gonna be running 245/50 in the front and 265/50 in the rear...

Theres someone on Supraforums (I think they go by the name of NiGHTS) that uses this exact setup..
