1985 Silver 7MGTE MK2 Supra For Sale:
P-Type with sunroof. 5 speed. Silver exterior. Black interior. 2nd best interior Supras in Vegas 2003.
Original Arizona car that has always called AZ its home. Interior in excellent shape and never smoked in. Car has 206000 original miles but many upgrades / replacements listed below.
The 7mgte conversion was professionally performed by Don Culbertson and Shawn Pease in Everett, WA. These 2 are the experts on 7mgte conversions for MK2 Supras and create an end product that looks like factory Toyota created it themselves. This is a clean, complete conversion that can be driven every day. These 2 have performed many conversions over the years and have the process , parts list and knowledge down to a science.
Only 30,000 miles since 7MGTE engine conversion. Car is only run on stock boost and dyno’d 225rwhp / 280 rwtq at ~ 6psi. I drive this car with extreme care. It is not a perfect condition car since I am the 3rd owner (1st since 7mgte conversion) and there are some door dings and part of the car has been repainted and there is some fading clearcoat / paint – all which is documented in the photos – but is always gets compliments and still looks very good. Overall, it is a completely reliable car and will provide a solid platform for many years of enjoyment. I have over $14k into it, but now is a time for another MK2 enthusiast to enjoy it since I just do not have enough time to enjoy it. Engine Conversion:
* All the engine work and install was professional done by Don Culbertson (DON on cs.com) and Sean Pease (Junkie on cs.com) in Everett, WA in April 2001.
* 1988 7MGTE:
* Custom wiring harness making for 100% OEM Toyota performance, quality and appearance
* 1988 MK3 7MGTE ECU - stock
* Rebuilt bottom end – all new OEM Toyota lower end bearings – new OEM Toyota rings.
* Rebuilt Head with new HKS Metal Head gasket and ARP fasteners
* New Toyota seals, gaskets for engine assembly
* New OEM Toyota oil pump with 5mge pick up tube
* New OEM Toyota 7MGE clutch, pressure plate and T/O bearing
* New OEM Toyota Clutch fan for radiator
* 7MGTE 10 blade radiator fan
* New OEM Toyota Water pump / thermostat / hoses
* Stock MK3 Front Mount Intercooler and piping
* MSD 8920 Tach adapter (converts signal to use original MK2 dash tach)
* Oil Filter relocation kit – puts OEM filter on back side of pass. strut tower
* Oil cooler from MK3
* K&N FIPK air filter kit
* Turbo / exhaust Heat Shield fromT100 truck-perfect fit
* 3" Custom downpipe and exhaust – uses stock 7mgte flange and short flex section with 3” high flow ceramic catalytic converter to Magnaflow 3” in, dual 2.5” out muffler with chrome tips to keep stock, sleeper look, but with a deep sound
* Performance 3-core radiator – using stock upper/lower tanks for perfect fit – including stock fan shroud.
* Rear differential: Changed to 3.73lsd from orig. 4.30 lsd to allow for easy 3k rpm cruising at 80MPH.
* Full Mk3 A/C with custom hoses engineered and installed at time of engine swap – worked well for years but R12 leakage lead me to not use the car in the summer.
* New heater core and hoses
* New DVV (climate control valve)
* W58 Transmission with Redline MTL synthetic oil
* V2 Short Shifter by Jim King – very well engineered shifter.
* Rebuilt OEM Toyota clutch master cylinder
* Rebuilt / balanced drive shaft with serviceable u-joint bearings and new center carrier bearing
Suspension
* Tokico Blues F&R, stock springs
* Addco Front and Rear Sway Bars with polyurethane bushings,
* LJM Front Strut Bar,
* New OEM Toyota bushings in A-arms with Energy Suspension bushings in strut rods
* New Toyota upper strut mounts

* New rotors, pads F&R. Calipers painted red with high temp caliper paint
* Techna-Fit Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines.

* 16"x8” Centerline Thruster polished aluminum wheels with centering rings and locking lugs
